Ace-High Works for Eibinger

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger limped in from the small blind and "hello_totti" raised to 210,000 in the big blind, which saw Eibinger come along. The {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop ended up checked by both players and the same applied for the {k-Diamonds} turn. Eibinger then check-called a bet of 224,485 on the {k-Hearts} river and was good with the {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} as "hello_totti" had bluffed with just {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Lots of Jamming; No Calling

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams earned three pots without showdown to push his stack to more than 1.4 million and Bert "girafganger7" Stevens raise-folded against the three-bet-shove of chip leader Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger.

One hand later, "hello_totti" raised to 124,800 on the button, and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski three-bet all-in for more than 1.9 million, which brought no further resistance.

Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic repeated his button jam into two shorter stacks of the previous period to get through with it and Mike "SirWatts" Watson then jammed his button to scoop the blinds and antes.

Fast forward to the next hand, Adams raised the button to 132,000 and now it was up to Stevens to jam the small blind. Once again, no call followed.

Rudolph Takes From Eibinger

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski made it 151,200 to go from early position and picked up two callers in the blinds in Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph and Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger. The {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was checked and Rudolph's bet of 168,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn was called only by Eibinger.

The {6-Clubs} river went check, check, and Rudolph won the pot with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to pull closer to Eibinger at the top of the leaderboard.

Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford Eliminated in 9th Place ($33,035)

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

The UK's Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford was first to act and raised to 180,000 with fewer than that behind. It folded all the way to Mike "SirWatts" Watson as the second shortest stack in the small blind and his push got rid of Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams in the big blind. Beresford called and the cards were turned over.

Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Mike "SirWatts" Watson: {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Watson immediately paired his queen on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, the {9-Hearts} turn and {4-Hearts} river failed to keep Beresford in contention as he exited in 9th place for $33,035.

More for Smiljkovic Against "hello_totti"

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

From under the gun, "hello_totti" raised to 104,000 and was called only by Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic from two seats over. The duo checked the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and "hello_totti" tested the waters on the {10-Spades} turn with a bet of 100,000. Smiljkovic was having none of it and raised to 400,000, which won the pot right there.

Beresford Even Shorter

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Table short stack Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford min-raised to 100,000 and "hello_totti" in the cutoff three-bet to 175,000, which Beresford called after some consideration. The Brit checked the {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and bet of 95,800 by "hello_totti" shut down any further resistance of Beresford.

One hand later, Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic simply open-jammed his button into two shorter stacks and claimed the blinds and ante. He would do so again the next hand and Beresford forfeited his big blind to drop to fewer than seven big blinds.

First Pot to Eibinger

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

The first hand of the final table kicked off with a raise to 110,000 by Mike "SirWatts" Watson and Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger three-bet to 305,000 out of the small blind, which Watson called. Eibinger continued for 192,500 on the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop to receive a call and followed that up with a second barrel for 336,000 on the {k-Spades} turn.

Watson dipped into his time bank and eventually folded to drop below one million in chips.
