"SmilleThHero" Wins Big Pot Off "ja.sam.gale"

Level 18 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

A limped battle of the blinds between "SmilleThHero" and "ja.sam.gale" saw the former check-call a bet of 70,000 on the {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and 188,370 on the {j-Clubs} turn. The {2-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and "SmilleThHero" checked the third street in a row.

"ja.sam.gale" emptied the clip with an overbet of 997,500 into 618,240 and was called to reveal {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a missed straight draw, while "SmilleThHero" dragged in the 2.6 million pot with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the second pair.

Rolle Doubles Rudolph; Loses Loads to Eibinger

Level 18 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph opened to 70,000 in the cutoff and that triggered a three-bet to 315,000 by Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle in the big blind. Rudolph then four-bet jammed for nearly 1.5 million and Rolle called.

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Rolle picked up a gutshot on the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop but aces reigned supreme on the {2-Hearts} turn and {q-Clubs} river.

In the very next hand both tangled in another three-bet pot and Rudolph folded on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Fast forward another two hands and Rolle made it 72,500 to go in the cutoff, which resulted in the call of chip leader Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger in the big blind. Eibinger check-called a bet of 67,320 on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and 332,500 on the {3-Spades} turn. A third barrel of Rolle followed on the {5-Hearts} river and Eibinger check-called with {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for top pair, catching Rolle bluffing a missed straight draw with the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

LeFrancois Eliminated by "hello_totti"

Level 18 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

LeFrancois Eliminated by "hello_totti"

As the far shortest stack at the table, Pascal "Pass_72" LeFrancois raised to 315,000 with 24,647 behind and was called by Bert "girafganger7" Stevens from one seat over in the cutoff. "hello_totti" in the big blind jammed for nearly 1.6 million and LeFrancois called, while Stevens let go.

Pascal "Pass_72" LeFrancois: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
"hello_totti": {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The dominated pocket pair found no help on the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board and LeFrancois exited in 16th place.

Stevens Sends "ArtHouse2011" To the Rail

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

ArtHouse2011 eliminated by Stevens

Bert "girafganger7" Stevens limped the small blind and "ArtHouse2011" raised to 111,000 in the big blind with 702,892 behind. Stevens went for the limp-jam with the superior stack and picked up a call.

"ArtHouse2011": {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Bert "girafganger7" Stevens: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Stevens immediately paired his ace on the {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop to fade the two outer on the {9-Diamonds} turn and {5-Clubs} river.

Reeves Hits the Rail Eventually

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Following a min-raise from under the gun by "ja.sam.gale", it was short stack Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves that stuck around and then opted to check-shove the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop for the last 318,099. A quick call by "ja.sam.gale" followed to set up the below showdown.

Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves: {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}
"ja.sam.gale": {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Both players held straight draws and it was "ja.sam.gale" that prevailed on the {7-Diamonds} turn and {q-Diamonds} river runout.

Double Ups for Greenwood and "ja.sam.gale"

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood won a flip with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} of Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves thanks to a board of {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to jump above one million in chips.

A few hands later it was the next short stack on the table to get their chips in as "ja.sam.gale" ended up at risk versus Pascal "Pass_72" LeFrancois.

"ja.sam.gale": {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Pascal "Pass_72" LeFrancois: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

LeFrancois took the lead on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop but the preflop order was restored on the {q-Diamonds} turn. A ten on the river would have provided a chop but instead it was the meaningless {6-Hearts}.

Pardo Busts to Rolle; Mulder Felted by Eibinger

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante
Rolle busts Pardo
Rolle busts Pardo

Within three hands, the rich got richer as Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle and Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger notched up knockouts to bring the field down to the final 18 contenders.

Rolle's raise to 64,500 saw Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo with the three-bet jam for 671,694 in the cutoff and the German had an easy call with the far superior stack.

Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Pardo flopped a gutshot on {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and turned a pair with the {10-Clubs} but Rolle made kings full for good measure on the {k-Diamonds} river.

One hand later, Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder jammed up his short stack but his attempt via three-bet shove the next hand was not crowned with success as Eibinger called.

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop gve Eibinger top pair and he faded the ace and clubs thanks to the {k-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river runout.

Adams check-called a bet of 74,333 on the {j-Diamonds} turn and another 94,213 on the {6-Spades} river to win the pot with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} versus {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

One hand later, David "MonkeyBausss" Laka three-bet successfully to rake in chips without showdown.
