Lakemeier Leading at Break (full)

Dzivielevski Cooked

17,500/35,000 Razz

Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski was down to about 50K and got it in on third with {8-}{q-}/{2-} against the {a-}{4-}/{6-} of Christian "Crisper" Pereira.

Pereira would run out {3-}{j-}{9-}{k-} to make a nine-six, while Dzivielevski got {7-}{a-}{k-} for a chance at an eight-low if he could bang off a useful river card. However, the {2-} paired him to end his tournament.

Ashton Scooped and Dusted

17,500/35,000 Omaha Hi-Lo

Matthew Ashton got his stack of 56K in preflop holding {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} but needed low cards as "RaulGonzalez" had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

The {3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board gave Ashton two pair, but RaulGonzalez's side cards made higher two.

Hollink Hooked

15,000/30,000 Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Rob "batoelrob" Hollink in the small blind and he raised and capped when Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski reraised. The last 5K went in on the {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and Hollink was way behind with {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} against {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

The turn and river ran king-free to reduce the field to 12.

The Raiding's Done

15,000/30,000 Limit Hold'em

Two short stacks went to war as Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi opened under the gun and "rolfgal" three-bet on his left. The remaining monies went in on the {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} flop.

Shakerchi had flopped top pair with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} but was beyond crushed by {a-Spades}{k-Spades}. The {7-Clubs} turn gave Shakerchi a chance but the {6-Clubs} river wasn't it.

Ferreira, "nilsef" Fall

15,000/30,000 2-7 Triple Draw

Rui "RuiNF" Ferreira raised on the button and Matthew "MUSTAFABET" Ashton called in the big blind. Both players drew two and Ashton check-called. Ashton took two and Ferreira patted. Ashton check-raised and Ferreira called off the last crumbs.

Both players patted, but Ferreira's {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{3-} was smashed by an eight-perfect so he hit the rail.

At another table, "nilsef" also went bust.

Strekbov Bounces Boeken

15,000/30,000 2-7 Triple Draw

Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov opened for a raise in the cutoff and Noah "Exclusive" Boeken defended the big blind. He took three and was way behind in the draw as Strebkov took one. Nonetheless, Boeken check-called and took two while Strebkov drew one again. Boeken check-called off the last 23K.

He took two against a pat hand and made {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, but unfortunately for him, Strebkov had drawn the nuts already and the hand was over.

Lakemeier Outruns Zaichenko

Andrey Zaichenko
Andrey Zaichenko

3,000/6,000/750 NLHE

After an under-the-gun open for 12K, Andrey "kroko-dill" Zaichenko shoved for 138,806 in the next seat. Jens "Fresh_oO_D" Lakemeier jammed in the next seat covering Zaichenko and everyone else folded.

Zaichenko: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Lakemeier: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop was all bad news for Zaichenko. The {k-Hearts} and {8-Spades} didn't help him, and he has just a few minutes left to use his final shell if he so chooses.

Ferreira Survives

3,000/6,000/750 NLHE

Matthew "MUSTAFABET" Ashton opened for 12,000 under the gun and called the shove of Rui "RuiNF" Ferreira who had only 66K on the button.

Ashton: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Ferreira: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Ferreira was dominated but that changed in a big way on the {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop as he hit trips, securing the double with a {6-Hearts} turn.
