After just over seven hours of action, the latest 2020 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Online competition has reached its first-day conclusion.

Day 1 of EPT Online 11: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Deep Stacks] drew 436 unique players who re-entered 201 times to get to a total of 637 entries, generating a $637,000 prize pool.

Once the prize pool was official, 254 players remained but only 79 found themselves a spot in the money.

Leading the remaining 79 players by a wide margin is Andreas "mrAndreeew" Berggren with 8,422,617. Berggren sat atop the chip counts throughout the entire day but he extended his lead in the last hand of the night after eliminating Kelvin "kelvin_fp:ar" Kerber on the money bubble.

Following behind Berggren is Gediminas "Gedis92" Uselis with 5,058,473, while "SoulRead93" (4,995,888), "JackRipperJr" (4,122,033), and "Genyss13" (3,838,175) round out the top five stacks.

Players who took a shot but failed to make it into the money include Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas, Christian "Gambler444" Nolte, Rui "sousinha23" Sousa, Pablo "pabritz" Brito, and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg.

For the remaining 79 players who found Day 2 appearance, each have secured $2,262 for a min-cash, but they'll be looking to grab the $111,009 that remains up top once play resumes on Friday at 7:05 pm CET. They'll pick-up action in Level 20 where blinds are 25,000/50,000/6,000 and will play down to a winner.

Berggren Coolers Kerber on Money Bubble

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Andreas "mrAndreeew" Berggren raised to 110,000 from the hijack and was called by Kelvin "kelvin_fp:ar" Kerber from the button, along with "renemastermi" from the big blind.

The {9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop was checked to Berggren who continued for 124,930 and only Kerber called to to see the {4-Spades} appear on the turn.

Berggren fired out 375,000, Kerber called and the {4-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Berggren moved all in for 6,053,680 and Kerber called off his 966,077 stack.

Kerber rolled over strong hand holding eights full {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} but it wasn't good enough as Berggren showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} to win the pot and Kerber fell on the money bubble.
