"WhatIfGod" Forces Fold From Buldygin and Adams

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

The open raise of Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin in the cutoff was three-bet to 7.2 million by "WhatIfGod" on the button and Buldygin called to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, on which both players checked. Buldygin bet the {j-Hearts} turn for 6,271,500 and received a call.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the river and Buldygin checked, which prompted a bet of 22,800,000 into 29,493,000 by "WhatIfGod". After using a decent portion of the remaining time bank, Buldygin elected to fold.

"WhatIfGod" was then successful with a second barrel against Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams on the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} turn and dragged in the next pot.

Buldygin Battles With Adams

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Three ways to the {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} with "tikidiii" as the initial button raiser, Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams checked and so did Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin. "tikidiii" bet 4,885,824 and Adams was the only caller. The {5-Clubs} followed on the turn and Adams check-folded to a second barrel worth 13,852,214.

Adams stopped the recent misery when he defended the big blind against Buldygin and check-called a continuation bet on the {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river were checked behind by Buldygin and Adams tabled {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a flush.

"tikidiii" then raised to 2,640,000 again and Adams three-bt the button to 7,200,000. That was all it took for the Canadian to win the pot.

Adams raised the next pot and was called by Buldygin on the button, which led them to the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Two checks later the {q-Hearts} appeared on the turn and again both opted to check it down. The {q-Clubs} river completed the board and Adams used a portion of his time bank before making it 6,072,000 to go.

Buldygin also invested some additional time and raised it up to 18,307,080, which forced a fold from Adams.

Buldygin Prevails Against Adams

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams made it 2,640,000 to go from the under-the-gun position and picked up one customer in Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin from one seat over. The {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop brought no action and Adams' bet worth 5,167,800 on the {10-Hearts} turn was called by Buldygin.

The {3-Hearts} then fell on the river and Adams check-folded to a bet worth 13,624,200.

Break for the Final Five

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

The final five players are on a scheduled five-minute break and their updated counts are as follows.

Adams Beats Buldygin at Showdown Once More

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

David "MissOracle" Yan raised the button to 2,592,000 and was called by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams in the big blind. Adams check-folded the {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop when facing a bet of 2,090,880 by Yan and the New Zealander won the pot.

Adams then won a limped battle of the blinds by betting the {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} turn and Yan did so shortly after on a {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop.

The next bigger pot kicked off between Adams and Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin in another battle of the blinds.

Adams limp-called a raise to 4.2 million and check-called the {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop for 2,287,500. He then check-called the {a-Hearts} turn for 8,509,500 and led the {10-Hearts} river for just 1,388,000 into 30,744,000. Buldygin called and mucked when he was shown the {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for treys full of tens by Adams.

Updated Counts of the Final 5

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Min-raised pots with a flop took place three times and the initial raiser claimed the pot right then with a continuation bet.

All other hands didn't even make it that far, and David "MissOracle" Yan got a three-bet through to preserve his short stack.

"WhatIfGod" Above 100 Million

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin made it 2 million to go on the button and picked up two callers in "WhatIfGod" out of the small blind and David "MissOracle" Yan in the big blind. The {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was checked and "WhatIfGod" bet the {10-Diamonds} turn for 4 million, picking up a call from Yan only.

On the {k-Diamonds} river, "WhatIfGod" moved all in and Yan let go with fewer than 19 big blinds behind.

"WhatIfGod" Cements Top Spot

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

"WhatIfGod" earned yet another pot when they cold-called a raise to 2.2 million by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams while on the button. As the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop was checked, the Swede led the {10-Clubs} turn for 5 million and Adams came along via check-call. The {j-Clubs} river was checked by both and Adams showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, which ended up second-best to {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

No further major hand took place immediately after and "WhatIfGod" was successful with a three-bet against Adams to preserve their current lead.

David "MissOracle" Yan then min-raised from under the gun to get called by "WhatIfGod" in the big blind. On the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Yan continued for 3,433,750 to earn a check-call and the {3-Hearts} turn was checked. The {8-Spades} appeared on the river and "WhatIfGod" bet 9 million to win the next pot without showdown.

"tikidiii" and "WhatIfGod" Chip Up

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Finland's "tikidiii" defended the big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams and check-called a bet of 1,557,500 on the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. The {2-Diamonds} turn was checked and "tikidiii" bet the {6-Spades} river for 2,571,124 to pick up a call, winning the pot with {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for jacks and fours.

David "MissOracle" Yan then three-bet to 6 million and "WhatIfGod" called as initial min-raiser. The {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop brought no betting action and "WhatIfGod" checked the {3-Hearts} turn as well. Yan bet 3,531,250 to receive a call and checked behind the {q-Clubs} river. "WhatIfGod tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and that won the pot.
