The PokeStars 2021 EPT Online showcased one of its most prestigious events on the schedule, with Sunday featuring the first of the two days of Event #12: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Sunday Super High Roller], $1M Gtd - Trophy Event #6.

The tournament gathered a few of the most high-profile players in the world and with a total of 122 entries, the $1M Gtd was easily surpassed. Many big names failed to make it to the final table like Ole "wizowizo" Schemion , Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz , Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet and members of Team Pokerstars such as Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis , Sam ''SamSquid'' Grafton, and Parker ''tonkaaaa'' Talbot who was the final table bubble.

On the other hand, some of the most successful online and live players made their way to the final table. Online crushers Niklas "Lena900" Astedt , Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden found a spot in the final 9 as well as Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams , Pablo "pabritz" Brito and the hottest player of the year undoubtedly Michael "Imluckbox" Addamo who piloted a big stack since the beginning of the day and held the chip lead during most part of the day.

However, at the top of chip count is Viktor "papan9_p$" Ustimov who slowly built his stack and during the last couple of hours of the day applied pressure to his opponents and finding the right spots. Second in chips is another phenomenal player. Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos who made a huge stack deep on Day 1, getting a significant boost from eliminating Jonathan''Proudflop'' Proudfoot in a preflop all-in, where his queens held against the ace-queen of Proudfoot. The remaining two players on the final table is "Laurynas "LaurisL91" Levinskas" from Lithuania who has great experience in high roller tournaments and Vershinin from Russia.
