EPT Online 31: $530 NLHE [8-Max, EPT Online Cup], 1M Gtd - Trophy Event #16 has come to an end and ''xxxxxxxx'' triumphed on a 2,530 field taking home the $185,247 up top, plus the EPT Online Trophy.

70 players started on Day 2 with a few notable players like Peter "twirlpro" Turmezy, Lucas "YRWTHMELTHR" Greenwood, Marton "noirduck" Czuczor, Andreas "daskalos20" Christoforou and Dani "danipesis" Palau who started with a big stack but a couler early on the day, left him a short stack and moments later he was out of the tournament.

The field shrunk quickly and within a couple of hours, the final two tables were reached after the elimination of Peter "twirlpro" Turmezy and Lucas "YRWTHMELTHR" Greenwood. Then it was a matter of forty minutes of play to reach a final table when ''CurrD'' was out in tenth place.

Final Table Action

The final table started with ''FKREDSTAR45'' with a slight chip advantage over ''BlackyOrange'' who was right behind him. The first player to bust from the final table was ''echoscience'' who lost a coinflip against ''FKREDSTAR45''. In the same way, Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji finished eighth, lost a coinflip against ''Maxim737'' before ''Maxim737'' knocks out ''icedavid'' when his pocket tens held against the ace-queen of his opponent.

Having won the two previous big coinflips ''Maxim737'' found himself on the wrong end of the equation this time and he was out in sixth place. Moments later it was Jason "jdtjpoker" Wheeler who tried to steal ''FKREDSTAR45'' 's big blind unsuccessfully and finished fifth as his king ten was not good for his opponent's pocket sevens.

The four-handed action started with all players being very close in chips but after 'XxLimao99xX'' lost a couple of pots, he found himself all-in preflop with ace nine against the ace seven of ''hszabi95'' who flopped better and sent his opponent to the rail. ''hszabi95 shoved all-in with king-jack after the open from ''FKREDSTAR45'' but he found himself being dominated against ''BlackyOrange'' and his king queen.

The heads-up didn't last long at all. It took only two hands to be completed, as ''FKREDSTAR45'' who was the shorter stack put all of his chips with the middle pair on a jack-high flop but ''BlackyOrange'' had him crushed his top pair and normally ''FKREDSTAR45'' bowed out second for $132,050, leaving the first place and the trophy to ''BlackyOrange''.
