Big Stacks in the Final Level

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With just 26 players out of 56 entries remaining, the final level of the night has kicked off. Current chip leader appears to be Audrius Stakelis but several other contenders are in the mix to potentially snag the lead from the Lithuanian.

Dimov Knocks Out Bujtas

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

The decision to re-enter late seems to have paid off for Ognyan Dimov, as he just secured the bounty of Laszlo Bujtas. He found the perfect spot to pick up {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} in the big blind while Bujtas' {10-}{7-} only flopped an inferior pair on a board of {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Yokosawa Doubles Through Dzivielevski

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Teun Mulder raised to 6,000 and then faced a three-bet by Yuri Dzivielevski. Masato Yokosawa jammed for 37,000 from one seat over right after that to force out Mulder and Dzivielevski instantly called.

Masato Yokosawa: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Thanks to a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Yokosawa secured the double up but remained below the starting stack for the time being.

The "Suckout Table" Strikes Twice

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Andriy Lyubovetskiy called all-in after the isolation shove by Timothy Adams while Pierre Christensen got out of the way.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Timothy Adams: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Adams spiked the five on the river.

"If you don't shove, I get in there with pocket nines. A five for five [bounty]," Christensen remarked in table chat.

The Dane then got it in preflop for around 130,000 with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Andras Nemeth only had the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} but spiked an ace on the flop.

"This is the suckout table," Christensen sulked on his way out.

In the meanwhile, Tom Vogelsang also departed on another table to cut the field of contenders into more than half.

Mateos Triples; Qiaofeng Busts

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Adrian Mateos moved all-in for the last 37,500 and Yin Qiaofeng did so for the 73,000 he had at his disposal. Gab Yong Kim in the big blind asked for a count on the bigger stack and then called.

Adrian Mateos: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Yin Qiaofeng: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Gab Yong Kim: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Thanks to a board of {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Mateos tripled up while Kim earned the bounty prize of Qiaofeng.

Dimov Doubles Through Petrangelo

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The miracle comeback of Orpen Kisacikoglu was cut short as the High Roller regular was eliminated a few minutes ago. On his former table, another all-in showdown unfolded as Ognyan Dimov was at risk for 110,000 in a preflop contest versus Nick Petrangelo.

Ognyan Dimov: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} board gave Dimov a set of kings and double, leaving Petrangelo on a short stack.

Hissou Wins Showdown Pot Versus Qiaofeng

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Picking up the action on the heads-up turn of {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Yin Qiaofeng checked to Sirzat Hissou in the cutoff. The German bet 12,000 and Qiaofeng reluctantly called. After the {a-Clubs} river, both players checked and Qiaofeng tabled the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a busted straight and flush draw.

Hissou had not connected with his {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} either but prevailed with king-jack high.

Dimov Sent to the Rail

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

While the healthy salad foot option of Timothy Adams had just arrived, Ognyan Dimov entered the level with a fresh beer. It seems that the former option worked best in regards to the success at the tables as Dimov's stack was pushed to Adams.

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Adams were still tabled and he hit best on the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{x-Diamonds} board to beat the pocket queens of Dimov. On his way out, Dimitar Danchev inquired if his countryman would jump in again for the second and final bullet. This remains available until the start of Day 2 and level 11.
