Grafton Chips Up Against Mateos and Pardo

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Sam Grafton and Adrian Mateos, the latter called a bet worth 8,500 on the {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Grafton tabled the {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} for kings and eights to win the pot.

Juan Pardo then raised to 2,500 and Mateos three-bet to 11,000 in order to claim the pot.

Grafton opened to 3,000 next and was called only by Pardo in the big blind. The Spaniard check-raised the {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop from 2,000 to 10,000 and earned a call from Grafton. Both checked the {7-Clubs} turn and Pardo check-called the {4-Hearts} river when Grafton bet 18,000.

The Brit revealed {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a full house to earn a healthy pot.
