Brewer Pays Off Adams

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams raised to 2,500 from under the gun and Chris Brewer defended his big blind.

Brewer check-called 2,000 on the {2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and the turn was the {10-Hearts}

Both players checked. The river was the {a-Hearts} and Brewer checked. Adams bet 5,000 and after some thought, Brewer check-raised to 50,000.

Adams used two time extensions before re-raising to 140,000. Brewer sat back in his chair and instantly threw out two time extensions to ponder his decision.

He sighed and ruminated some more, before calling. Adams turned over {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a rivered flush and took down the pot.
