Chidwick Chips Up With Queens

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Chris Brewer raised to 6,000 and was called by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the cutoff. The action then folded to Stephen Chidwick in the big blind and he three-bet to 27,500. Both his opponents called and the trio headed to the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop. Chidwick now led for 10,000 and Brewer got out of the way while Kisacikoglu called.

Both players then checked the {8-Hearts} turn and the {j-Hearts} river for Chidwick to expose the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. That won the pot as Kisacikoglu mucked his cards.

Heath Loses a Chunk to Dvoress

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Three ways to the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Daniel Dvoress on the button and he made it 10,000 to go. Saar Wilf flat-called in the big blind and the initial preflop aggressor Ben Heath in middle position then raised to 36,500. Dvoress stuck around while Wilf tossed his cards into the muck.

Heath then check-called a bet for 40,000 on the {10-Clubs} and checked again the {q-Clubs} on the river. Dvoress now bet 165,000 with two T-500 chips behind. Heath used three time bank extensions and surrendered eventually to preserve around half the starting stack.

Chalot Loses It All to Watson

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Benjamin Chalot
Benjamin Chalot

Benjamin Chalot had just a chunk of his stack to Mike Watson when the latter made two pair, jacks and tens.

Shortly after, Chalot raised in the cutoff and called a three-bet to 26,000 by Watson in the small blind. The {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop brought a bet worth 14,000 by Watson and a call by Chalot. On the {q-Hearts} turn, Watson increased his sizing to 50,000 and Chalot came along once more.

The duo then headed to the {3-Diamonds} river on which Watson bet 210,000 for the vast majority of his stack. Chalot was covered by that and had some 165,000 behind. He went into the tank and eventually called to get shown the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} by Watson, which beat his {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the Frenchman to bust.

Bujtas and Heath Hit the Rail

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

Martin Kabrhel opened to 9,000 and got calls from Nick Petrangelo and Tom Vogelsang. Laszlo Bujtas three-bet to 40,000, with Kabrhel and Petrangelo calling.

Bujtas bet 40,000 on the {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop with Kabrhel the only caller.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}. Bujtas moved all in.

"Do you want me to slowroll you?" asked Kabrhel.

"As you wish," came the reply from Bujtas.

Kabrhel thought a moment longer before calling. Bujtas showed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for top pair, but Kabrhel had flopped a set of fours with {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds} river was dealt and Bujtas was left with 500 chips remaining.

On the next hand, Bujtas was all-in preflop as Adrian Mateos check-called 3,500 from Kabrhel on a {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. The pair checked the {4-Diamonds} turn and the river was the {a-Clubs}. Mateos check-called 13,000 and Kabrhel showed {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for complete air.

Mateos showed {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for two pair, beating Bujtas' {k-Spades}{8-Spades} top pair and sending him to the rail.

Meanwhile Ben Heath was eliminated after running into Saar Wilf's full house.

Teun Mulder
Teun Mulder

Action was on a {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} river with Teun Mulder having shoved for his last 50,000.

Orpen Kisacikoglu was taking his time, and used two time banks before flicking in the call.

Mulder showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for queen-high with Kisacikoglu taking down the pot with {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} for ace-high.

"Nice to be right," he said to tablemate Chris Brewer as he raked in the pot.

Dvoress Wins With Aggression

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Saar Wilf raised to 7,500 and was called by Sam Grafton in the small blind, Daniel Dvoress also came along in the big blind. There was no betting action on the {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and the {k-Clubs} turn was checked by Grafton. Dvoress bet and Wilf raised to 25,000 which then forced out Grafton.

However, Dvoress was in no mood to fold and instead clicked it up to 80,000. The 30 second shot clock for Wilf ticked down and he opted to fold when it hit zero.

Watson Among the Leaders

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mike Watson has silently accumulated chips and joined the chip leaders while Chris Brewer slipped below the starting stack again. The latest hand saw Watson win a three-bet pot in which he bet the {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} river for 25,000. Brewer called and Watson tabled {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} as the winning hand.

Dvoress Wins Lengthy Hand Against Grafton

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sam Grafton raised it up to 6,000 on the button to get called by Daniel Dvoress and Cosmin Timbus out of the blinds. The {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked to Grafton and the PokerStars ambassador continued for 15,000 only for Dvoress to check-raise, making it 40,000 to go. Timbus got out of the way and Grafton called after some consideration.

Both headed to the {5-Hearts} turn on which Dvoress bet 60,000 and Grafton called. Dvoress then used two time bank extensions on the {10-Diamonds} river and bet 50,000. Grafton, likewise, took one time bank and opted to fold.
