Muehloecker Doubles Through Nemeth

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Thomas Muehloecker three-bet to 35,000 preflop out of the small blind and received a call from Andras Nemeth in the hijack. The duo headed to the {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop on which Muehloecker continued for 26,000 and then called a raise to 66,000.

Following the {7-Spades} turn, Muehloecker check-called all-in to set up the following showdown.

Thomas Muehloecker: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {5-Clubs} on the river confirmed Muehloecker's double for 127,000 and that left Nemeth very short.

Mateos Can Handle the Heath

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With three-bet sizings larger on all active tables so far, the reraise to 32,000 by Adrian Mateos was not out of the ordinary. He picked up a call by the initial raiser Ben Heath and they saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} on which Heath checked his option. Mateos made it 51,000 to go and was shipped the pot moments later, as Heath quickly sent his cards into the muck.

"Honest Poker" Between Chidwick and Watson

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 10,000. Mike Watson three-bet to 35,000 in the next position. It came back around to Chidwick who four-bet all in for around 150,000 and Watson called.

Stephen Chidwick: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Mike Watson: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

It looked like it was going to be bad news for Chidwick, but the {8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board gave both players a straight and they chopped the pot.

"Good hands," said tablemate Marius Gierse.

"Honest poker," replied Chidwick.

Nemeth Out and Back In

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Down to the final 20,000, Andras Nemeth pushed from the hijack. His previous nemesis Thomas Muehloecker called out of the small blind and Marius Gierse forfeited his big blind.

Andras Nemeth: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Thomas Muehloecker: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop propelled Muehloecker into the lead while Nemeth picked up a flush draw on the {4-Hearts} turn. However, the {7-Diamonds} river was too little too late for the Hungarian and he almost immediately re-entered to a different table.

Grafton's Aggression Wins It

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sam Grafton kicked off the preflop action with a raise to 10,000 and he earned calls from Daniel Dvoress from one seat over and Mustapha Kanit in the big blind. The trio saw a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} on which the action checked to Dvoress, who made it 12,000 to go. Kanit flat-called before Grafton then check-raised to 50,000 total.

That got rid of Dvoress and Kanit used one time bank extension before coming to the very same conclusion as well.

Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Thomas Muehloecker opened to 9,000 and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 27,000. It folded back to Muehloecker who four-bet all in, with Chidwick calling for his last 238,000.

Stephen Chidwick: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

There was a queen in the window of a {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop and Chidwick locked things up on the {a-Spades} turn. The river {3-Clubs} saw him secure a double up.

Chalot Loses to Petrangelo; Doubles Through Heath

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} turn, Benjamin Chalot checked and Nick Petrangelo overbet for 60,000 to pick up a call by the Frenchman. The {a-Diamonds} fell on the river and both players now checked it down. Chalot tabled the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} but Petrangelo had that beat with the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Chalot then raised and called a three-bet to 22,000 by Ben Heath. He check-called a small bet on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and the {10-Diamonds} turn was checked. Chalot also checked the {2-Spades} on the river and Heath bet 100,000. His opponent was covered by that and Chalot reluctantly check-called all-in for 95,000 with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}. Heath's {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} were no good as Chalot bounced back right away.
