An extra day will determine the winner of the 2021 PokerStars EPT Prague €2,200 Eureka High Roller. After nearly sixteen hours on the previous day, 181 Day 1 survivors were whittled down to the final six out of a field of 1,149 entries. They will be battling for the lion's share of the €2,206,080 prize pool as of 12.30 pm local time and have €69,930 locked up for the efforts thus far.

Chip leader heading into the unscheduled Day 3 In the King's Casino at the Hilton Hotel Prague is Spain's Jose Manuel Gonzalez with 17,525,000, good enough for 44 big blinds. Pedro Marques is the only other big stack and has 12,000,000 at his disposal while four players are on severe short stacks. That includes Ermanno Di Nicola (2,200,000), Nicolas Vayssieres (1,375,000), Thomas Lhomme (975,000), and 2021 WSOP bracelet winner Romain Lewis (425,000).

Especially Lewis will have to hope for yet another miracle after surviving on fumes for an extended period last night and has a shade more than one big blind left. With significant pay jumps for every knockout, the start of the day could be a very tense affair. There are 18:31 minutes left in level 35 at blinds of 200,000 / 400,000 and a 400,000 big blind ante.

Be sure to keep it with PokerNews live updates for the conclusion of this record-breaking event on what shapes up to be a busy day at the poker tables.
