Azevskis Downs Borde

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Anthony Borde moved in for his last 35,000 from late position before Dmitrijs Azevskis re-shoved from the small blind. The big blind folded and Borde was at risk.

Anthony Borde: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Dmitrijs Azevskis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The pocket sixes were looking good on the {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop but were obliterated and sealed Borde's fate after the {a-Hearts} turn and {k-Clubs} river.

Shitrit Doubles Up Hickey and Then Busts Calzoni

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ireland's Gerard Hickey jammed for 12,500 from the small blind and was called by Yakir Shitrit, who was in the big blind.

Hickey had the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and would need some help against his opponent't {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. He found that help on the river and doubled up after the board displayed {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

The very next hand, Matteo Calzoni shipped in his stack for 21,000 and was called by Shitrit who was now in the small blind.

Matteo Calzoni: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Yakir Shitrit: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Shitrit was able to recoup some lost chips after his big slick held after the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} runout.
