Turn Card Pain for Dranovitsas

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Alexandros Dranovitsas raised to 45,000 from the hijack before Julien Sitbon three bet to 125,000 from the cutoff. Dranovitsas called.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Dranovitsas check called the 100,000 continuation bet from Sitbon.

The {a-Spades} was the turn and Dranovitsas checked again. Sitbon slid out a lofty 275,000 bet. Dranovitsas paused before making the call.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Dranovitsas checked for a third time. Sitbon completed the triple barrel as he bet 500,000 forcing Dranovitsas all in. Dranovitsas called for his tournament life but would be exiting the tournament area in brutal fashion as his {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} was no match for Sitbon's {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} who had made broadway with the straight to move over 2,000,000 chips.

Chetrit Decimated in Short Order as Trofimov Soars

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

There was a big preflop all in that occurred in which [Removed:510] raised to 40,000. Jorge Palomino Rebolleda three-bet to 120,000, Michael Chetrit then jammed all in which Trofimov called and Palomino Rebolleda folded to. Trofimov found himself at risk but ahead with the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} against the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Chetrit.

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to give Trofimov the set of kings and the huge pot.

A couple of hands later Chetrit was decimated further as his {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} ran into the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of Roura Comas. The board would not help Chetrit as it came {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to send him his once large stack down to a tiny one.

Pyke Scores Double Knockout

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Danny Pyke
Danny Pyke

Ryan O'Donnell raised to 40,000 from early position, followed by Lander Lijo moving all in. Danny Pyke covered them both, and put Lilo at risk by moving in himself. O'Donnell quickly called off the rest of his stack, and the hands were turned up.

Lander Lijo: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Ryan O'Donnell: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Danny Pyke: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Pyke instantly took the lead with the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, but the {5-Hearts} turn brought some hope for Lilo. The {9-Clubs} river was a blank, and Pyke scooped the whole pot while knockout out both opponents.
