Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Mohamed Aissaoui
Mohamed Aissaoui

After Jon Kyte had doubled through Mohamed Aissaoui a couple of hands prior he finished him off as he held the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} in a preflop all in against the {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} of Aissaoui.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} but the turn was the {k-Spades} to put Aissaoui right on the edge of elimination which he would tumble over into as the {j-Diamonds} came on the river to end his day in 15th place.

Laidlaw Shoves the River

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Dan Laidlaw raised to 160,000 from under the gun, with the action folding around to Olivier Arnault in the big blind. Arnault made the call to see the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, and quickly checked.

Laidlaw continued with a minimum bet of 80,000, and Arnault called again to the {2-Spades} turn. Arnault led out for 300,000, which was called by Laidlaw.

Arnault then checked the {k-Spades} river, and Laidlaw announced all in for roughly 1,000,000 more chips. Arnault took some time before making the fold, and Laidlaw added to his stack.

Kyte Cracks Cowboys

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jon Kyte made it 500,000 from under the gun to commit over half of his stack. Igor D'Ursel three-bet all in from the hijack. It folded back around to Kyte who put in the rest after a few moments.

Jon Kyte: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Igor D'Ursel: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop was a dream for Kyte as it came {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Spades} to not only pair the ace but bring in two spades as well. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and the river came the {2-Spades} to confirm the double for Kyte.

Leathley Calls Pyke's Bluff

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Guy Leathley
Guy Leathley

Guy Leathley defended his big blind to a raise from Danny Pyke, and the two were heads up to the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop.

Leathley check-called Pyke's continuation bet of 200,000, and both players checked the {10-Spades} turn. Leathley led out on the {9-Spades} river for 265,000, which was quickly raised by Pyke to 650,000.

Leathley took his time before making the call and Pyke slid his cards to the dealer, who turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Leathley showed in {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for the winning hand, taking down a sizeable pot.
