Up and Down for O'Dwyer

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alex Kulev raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and was called by Steve O'Dwyer and Ben Heath in the blinds. The flop came {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and the action checked to Kulev who continued for 7,000. O'Dwyer called and Heath folded.

The {3-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and both players checked through to the {q-Spades} and checked again. O'Dwyer tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for the only pair in the hand won the pot.

On the next hand, O'Dwyer made it 11,000 on the button and Heath called from the small blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and the two players got all of the chips in the middle with Heath being at risk for 61,000.

Ben Heath: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}

Heath flopped the best hand with a pair of queens while O'Dwyer needed to improve his pair of deuces. The {k-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Heath scored a double-up.
