Day 1c Started
The €1,100 Eureka Main Event at the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague continues today with the third of four starting flights kicking off at 11 a.m. local time.
The event, which drew 3,155 entrants and generated a prize pool of €3,028,800 back in March, is already shaping up to be an epic one as the first two starting flights had 959 and 434 respective entries. Both those numbers could easily be surpassed today as players continue to arrive at the Hilton Prague venue.
Some of the notable players who survived through the first two starting flights include Martin Kabrhel (219,000), Adrian Mateos (32,000), and reigning champion Alejandro Lococo. In fact, the PokerStars ambassador and Argentinian freestyle rapper is the current chip leader with a stack of 1,083,000.
Day 1c will follow a similar structure as Day 1a and will see players starting with a stack of 30,000 and blinds of 100/100/100 with levels lasting 40 minutes in duration. Levels will increase to 60 minutes beginning with Level 17.
The tournament has 25-minute breaks after Levels 3, 6 and 8 and there will be a 75-minute dinner break after Level 10, after which there will be 20-minute breaks every three levels. All flights will play until 15% of the field remains and all players will be in the money on Day 2 on Dec. 10.
