Lococo Adds More, Truong Ousted

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Alejandro Lococo opened from under the gun. Action folded all the way to Sammy Truong in the big blind who moved all in for about 1,150,000. Lococo made the call.

Sammy Truong: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Alejandro Lococo: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

Lococo had the dominating ace, and both players paired their kicker on the runout, so Lococo's hand held up while Truong exited the tournament.

Serrano Seared by Ibarra

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Damir Savio opened to 185,000 from the hijack and Sale Ibarra three-bet jammed for around 550,000 from the button. Savio called.

Sale Ibarra: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Damir Savio: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Ibarra was dominated and the flop landed {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} to have him drawing even thinner before the board finished out {5-Spades}{7-Clubs} to mark his elimination.

Suarez Straightens Out Krueger

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Anton Suarez
Anton Suarez

Klas Krueger moved all in from middle position for 1,300,000. He found a call from Anton Suarez in the cutoff, the rest of the table got out of the way.

Klas Krueger: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Anton Suarez: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Krueger wasn't happy to see the {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs} hit the flop holding the ace magnets. The turn was just what he needed in the {k-Clubs}, though, giving him the set to take back the lead.

"Jack," called Suarez, just as the dealer dropped the {j-Diamonds} on the felt, much to the roars of the table.

Suarez made the straight to send the cowboys into the much and Krueger out the door.

Starostin Check-Raises the Chip Leader

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Alejandro Lococo opened to 175,000 from the cutoff. He picked up two callers, Waldemar Starostin in the small blind and Gisle Olsen in the big blind.

The {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} hit the board. Both blinds checked their options, and Lococo continued for 300,000. Starostin check-raised up to 800,000, prompting a fold from Olsen.

On Lococo, he tanked for about two minutes before finally letting his cards go. Starostin smiled.

"Please show it, please," pleaded Lococo.

Olsen obliged, flashing a {7-Diamonds} before mucking his cards.

Venckus Wins Flip to Double Through Kuzmanovic

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Steponas Venckus moved all in from middle position for 760,000. He found a customer when Boris Kuzmanovic called in the cutoff. THe rest of the table folded.

Steponas Venckus: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Boris Kuzmanovic: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

It was a race that Venckus pulled way ahead on when the {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} flopped. The turn {k-Spades} was salt in the wound to Kuzmanovic, and the {2-Diamonds} river gave Venckus the boat to secure the double.

Vlachos Makes the Right Call

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Robert Heidorn opened to 215,000 from under the gun and Andreas Vlachos three-bet to 715,000 from the next seat. Heidorn called when the action got back around.

Heidorn checked on the flop of {k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Vlachos checked back. Heidorn checked again on the {8-Spades} turn and Vlachos again checked back.

The river brought the {3-Spades} to put a fourth spade on board and Heidorn put out a sizable bet of more than 800,000. Vlachos called. Heidorn tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens, while Vlachos then showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} to win the pot with a pair of aces.

Turan Calls it Off, Rojas Benefits

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Yulian Bogdanov opened the cutoff before Abdullah Turan flatted the small blind. Luis Rojas moved all in for about 1,450,000 in the big blind.

Bogdanov folded, but Turan decided to call it off with a slightly shorter stack to put himself at risk.

Abdullah Turan: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Luis Rojas: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, neither player improved, and Turan was eliminated.

"You felt like gambling?" asked Eleftherios Kavoukis.

"He didn't play any hands for forever, then he started playing every hand like he had a train to catch," said another.

Bernard Drills River to Stay Alive, Rojas Left With Crumbs

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Pieter Theelen opened the button to 200,000. In the small blind, Jensen Bernard moved all in for 2,830,000. Luis Rojas quickly moved all in himself for 3,260,000. Theelen folded and the other two were headed to a runout.

Jensen Bernard: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Luis Rojas: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Bernard ran into queens in the big blind and was in danger of losing it all.

"I won this earlier," he said, as the dealer prepared to turn over the cards.

The flop showed up {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}, no help so far. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, adding a gutshot to his outs.

"Eight?" he asked the poker gods.

No eight on the river, but there was a {10-Diamonds} to hit his set and run down the queens of Rojas.
