Lijo Bluffs It All

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Lander Lijo opened to 35,000 in middle position and was called by Jun Obara on the button and Luigi D'Alterio in the small blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Lijo continued with a bet of 45,000 which both of his opponents called.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Lijo sized up a bet of 120,000 this time. Obara got out of the way but D'Alterio called to see the {j-Hearts} on the river. D'Alterio checked and Lijo ripped all in for 325,000. D'Alterio used multiple time banks before finally flicking in a chip to call. Lijo turned over {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a missed flush draw while D'Alterio held {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the only pair.
