Danny Tang Eliminated in 10th Place (€48,020)

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Paul Phua shoved from the hijack and Danny Tang, who was left with dust after losing a flip the previous hand, called without looking.

Danny Tang: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Paul Phua: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Tang first revealed the {j-Diamonds} and Phua turned over the {a-Diamonds}, Tang then turned over the {k-Clubs} and said "I think I'm in pretty good shape!" Phua then replied "No, you're not" and turned over the {k-Spades}, showing that Tang was dominated.

The flop came {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Tang was left pleading for an eight for chop possibilities.

The {4-Diamonds} arrived on the turn and only a jack could save Tang.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and Tang was out in 10th place.

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

Right after the bubble burst, Patrik Antonius shoved for 325,000 from under the gun and Artur Martirosian went over the top from the hijack. It folded around and the two turned their cards face up.

Patrik Antonius: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Artur Martirosian: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Antonius was ahead with his ace and soared to an 87% lead on the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop.

However, the turn was the {k-Diamonds} and suddenly Martirosian was a 73% favorite to take down the pot and eliminate Antonius.

The river was the {j-Diamonds} and Antonius had to settle for 11th place.

Volkmann Exits in 12th Place; Money Bubble Burst

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bruno Volkmann
Bruno Volkmann

With his chip stack on life support, Bruno Volkmann was all in for less than a big blind and Artur Martirosian raised to 80,000 and was called by Steve O'dwyer.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades} and both players checked to see the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Both players decided to check again and the river came the {4-Diamonds}, to which Martirosian fired out a bet of 60,000.

O'dwyer called and Matirosian showed {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for jack high and O'dwyer showed {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair, kings and queens.

Having not looked yet, Volkmann slowly peeled his cards to first reveal a {6-Clubs} and then slowly shook his head as he flipped over the {5-Diamonds} for six-high.

O'dwyer was awarded the pot and Volkman was eliminated in 12th place, bursting the money bubble.

Two and a half minutes and four time bank chips later, O'Dwyer laid his hand down.
