Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Morten Klein
Morten Klein

Action folded around to Morten Klein in the small blind who moved all in for 275,000. Adrian Mateos called in the big blind.

Morten Klein: {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Klein was in rough shape and was not help when the flop came {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} followed by the turn of {8-Diamonds}. However the river saved him as it came the {7-Clubs} to give him the straight. Klein had stood up thinking he was eliminated only to realise he was still alive and thankfully sat back down.

Two Pair Not Good Enough For Burns

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 33,000 from the button. Kahle Burns flatted in the small blind and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau defended his small blind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Mateos bet 25,000. Burns jammed all in, Vaskaboinikau folded and Mateos called.

Mateos had the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} two pair while Burns had the draw with the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and the river the {j-Diamonds} to give Burns runner-runner two pair but it was not enough and he was eliminated as he stayed seated at the table to finish his massage and become a spectator for the last few minutes of the level.

Soyza Will Not Go Down

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Michael Soyza moved all in for 110,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around to Elton Tsang in the big blind who called.

Michael Soyza: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
