Garcia Chips Up Early With Trips

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jorge Diego Garcia came into the day in the middle of the pack.

Garcia bet 400,000 into a pot of approximately 1,400,000 from the small blind on the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. His opponent was Ukrainian Oleksii Koiev was was in middle position and quickly called. It was bad news for Koiev as Garcia turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for trip queens with the ace kicker.
