Grieco and Banicevic Get Short

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On the outer tables, Vlado Banicevic raised from under the gun and Hugo Pingray defended the big blind. The flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Pingray check-raised from 55,000 to 150,000 in order to shut down Banicevic's resistance.

Over on the other table, Nariman Yaghmai raised to 115,000 in the small blind and Nicola Grieco came along from the big blind. They checked the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Yaghmai check-raised to {10-Spades} turn from 75,000 to 225,000. Grieco quickly called and the {2-Spades} river completed the board.

Yaghmai now eyeballed the stack of his table neighbour and bet 425,000, which resulted in a fold from Grieco.

Back to the other outer table, Jussi Nevanlinna had opened and saw Pingray and Fausto Tantillo stick around to the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs} turn. It checked to Pingray on button and he bet 125,000. Tantillo check-called and Nevanlinna check-raised to 350,000 for both opponents to fold.
