Cowboys for Colillas

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Over on the featured table, Ramon Colillas opened to 40,000 under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, Fausto Tantillo called on the button with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and Jacques Der Megreditchian called in the small blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Der Megreditchian checked, and Colillas checked. Tantillo bet 50,000, Der Megreditchian folded, and Colillas raised to 175,000. Tantillo called.

Both players checked the {8-Spades} turn to the {q-Clubs} river. Colillas led for 425,000, and Tantillo laid down his hand,

Cervantes Out-Kicks Yaghmai

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was heads-up with 100,000 in the pot and {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades} on the board when Nariman Yaghmai bet 40,000 from early position. Jaime Cervantes raised to 115,000 from the cutoff and Yaghmai called to see {8-Hearts} on the turn.

Yaghmai check-called a 220,000 bet from Cervantes and the river was {2-Clubs}.

Both players checked the river and turned over their cards. Yaghmai had {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, but Cervantes turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to take the pot with jacks and deuces and the better kicker.

Colillas Over 3 Million

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

On the featured table, Vlado Banicevic opened to 40,000 in early position with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Ramon Colillas defended the big blind with {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The dealer spread the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and Colillas check-raised a bet of 40,000 up to 125,000. Banicevic continued.

The {10-Clubs} landed on the turn and Colillas led for 250,000. Banicevic called.

The {q-Diamonds} fell on the river, Colillas jammed, and Banicevic folded. Colillas raked in the chips and moved over the 3 million chip mark with the hand.

Foggin Shows Turmezey a Bluff

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hugo Pingray had raised the button and was called by Peter Turmezey and Marc Foggin in the blinds.

The {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked and Turmezey bet the {4-Diamonds} turn for 70,000, earning a call from Foggin and a fold from Pingray.

Turmezey then bet the {6-Hearts} river for 120,000 when his shot clock had run down to all but one second. Foggin used one time bank extension and then raised to 325,000. Without any additional time bank extensions to think, Turmezey folded and a relieved Foggin showed the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the nut flush blocker.

Chisu Eliminated by Nevanlinna to Set Up Three Table Redraw

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Danut Chisu
Danut Chisu

Danut Chisu open-shoved for the last 275,000 in the small blind and he was called by the resurgent Jussi Nevanlinna in the big blind.

Danut Chisu: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Jussi Nevanlinna: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave Chisu the top pair yet he was drawing dead on the {9-Spades} turn to make the {10-Spades} river a formality. With this latest showdown, the field is down to the final 24 players and they will shortly redraw to the last three tables.

Hvam Takes With Pocket Kings

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was heads-up with a growing pot and {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} on the board, Morten Hvam checked and Fausto Tantillo bet 90,000. Hvam called and the river was {3-Spades}.

Hvam fired 165,000 on the river and turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} when Tantillo called. Tantillo threw the losing hand in the muck and Hvam dragged a pot to move above 2,000,000.

Tantillo Loses to Cardot and Hvam

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Fausto Tantillo raised from the button and was called by Yannick Cardot in the big blind. They checked all the way to the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} river on which Cardot checked once more. Tantillo bet 80,000 and folded when Cardot check-raised to 225,000.

Soon after, it was Morten Hvam who had opened and they were three ways to the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. Hvam bet 85,000 and Tantillo called in the cutoff, while Vlado Banicevic folded on the button. The {q-Clubs} turn was checked and Hvam bet again the {8-Diamonds} river for 75,000 and Tantillo quickly called.

Hvam tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a pair of aces and that won the pot as Tantillo took another hit.
