Quadruple Up for Newey

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paul Newey pushed all-in for the last 11,500 and received no fewer than three callers in the next seats including Tsugunari Toma, Guram Andronikashvili and Lukasz Szymon Grossmann. The {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop brought a bet worth 15,500 by Toma and Grossmann was the only caller.

The {10-Clubs} followed on the turn and Toma now bet another 19,000 for Grossmann to call. Both remaining active players checked the {k-Hearts} on the river and Newey rolled over the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for kings and tens. Toma only had {j-Spades}{2-Hearts} for an inferior two pair and lost both pots, as Grossmann won the side pot with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} while Newey quadrupled up.
