Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Salazar Marquetti opened to 500 from middle position and was three-bet to 1,500 by Cedric Chevalme in the small blind. It was folded back to Marquetti, who cut out a four-bet to 4,500 and placed it into the middle. Chevalme responded by shoving for just under a starting stack and Jonas called to put him at risk.

Anthony Sella
Anthony Sella

Fabrice Maltez raised to 600 from late position and Anthony Sella reraised to 1,800 from the button. Shawn Morales called in the big blind before Maltez came in with a four-bet to 8,000. Both Sella and Morales made the call.

The flop came 9K9. Morales checked, Maltez bet 11,500 and Sella called. Morales folded and two players went to the turn.

The turn came the 8 and Maltez shoved all in for 11,500. Sella quickly made the call and players flipped their cards.

Maltez showed 106 for a bluff with backdoor outs. Sella showed AK for two pair with his kings and the nines on board.

The river was a blank, the 3, and so Sella held to win a huge pot. Maltez was eliminated from the tournament.

Gurrea Fades The River to Eliminate Robles

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Miguel Gurrea Monton
Miguel Gurrea Monton

Miguel Gurrea raised to 2,000 from middle position and found one caller in Rafael Robles in the big blind.

Robles check-called a 2,300 bet from Gurrea on the 87K flop and then checked again to Gurrea on the 10 turn. Gurrea bet 8,300 and Robles shoved for 26,500 total, sending Gurrea deep into the tank. A tablemate eventually called the clock and the tournament director nearly counted down to zero before Gurrea stuck in a call to put Robles at risk.

Rafael Robles: 75
Miguel Gurrea: KJ

Gurrea was ahead with his pair of kings, but would need to fade a bevy of outs to eliminate Robles.

The 2 river bricked out for Robles and his remaining chips were added to Gurrea's stack.
