Vaskaboinikau Wins Flip to Double
Level 9
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo opened 14,000 in middle position before Mikalai Vaskaboinikau three-bet jammed next to act. The action quickly folded back to Lococo who asked for a count. After the dealer let him know it was 187,000 he made the call.
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: A♣10♣
Alejandro Lococo: 7♠7♥
It was a classic race but the A♠5♦5♥ flop paired Vaskaboinikau's ace to give him the lead. The K♦ turn and 2♣ river meant Vaskaboinikau could remain seated as he pulled in the pot.
