Boyle Given False Hope on the Turn
Level 25
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Justin Boyle open jammed from the cutoff for his last 620,000. Raffaele Castro, on the button, moved all in himself, covering Boyle.
Justin Boyle: 9♣9♥
Raffaele Castro: Q♠Q♥
The flop came down 3♠7♦4♠ and the turn landed the 9♠. Boyle had a small moment of celebration before it dawned on the table that Castro now had a redraw to a flush. The river landed the K♠ and Castro did improve to a flush to eliminate Boyle.
