Lybaert Cracks Cowboys
Level 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alex Montgomery opened to 160,000 from early position and Bart Lybaert three-bet to 440,000 from middle position. Montgomery four-bet shoved for 1,600,000 and Lybaert snap-called to put Montgomery at risk.
Alex Montgomery: K♥K♠
Bart Lybaert: A♥K♣
Montgomery was in great shape to receive a double up but was suddenly drawing to one out on the A♠Q♦Q♠ flop. The case king never came on the 6♥4♣ run out and Montgomery was sent to the rail in brutal fashion while Lybaert scooped in a significant pot.
