Jean-Noel Thorel raised 30,000 and Kayhan Mokri jammed for about 155,000 in the big blind. Thorel made the call and both hands were turned on their backs.
Kayhan Mokri: A♠J♦
Jean-Noel Thorel: 9♠9♥
It was a classic race but the K♣9♦6♦ flop left Mokri drawing nearly dead. The 5♥ turn sealed Mokri's fate and the 3♥ river was just a formality as Mokri left the table, bubbling the final table.
