Straight after the break, Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 30,000 from under the gun, but nobody called him. Smiling, he revealed A♦A♠.
On the next hand, Pablo Brito raised from middle position, and Thorel defended from the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of 6♦9♥5♣ that both players checked. Then on the turn K♦, Brito bet 35,000. Thorel decided to check-call.
Both players checked again on the river 3♥. Thorel showed K♥10♥ for a pair and won the pot after Brito mucked his cards.
