O'Dwyer Scores a Double KO
Level 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer raised to 20,000 from early position when Nikolai Mamut was automatically all in from the big blind. Benjamin Winsor then jammed in his 95,000 stack from middle position and the action folded back to O'Dwyer, who made the call.
Nikolai Mamut: A♥2♥
Benjamin Winsor: A♠J♥
Steve O'Dwyer: A♦A♣
"I have aces," O'Dwyer casually announced.
"I think I'm the favorite," Mamut responded.
The K♠K♥4♥ flop gave Mamut's statement some credit, but he missed the flush draw on the 9♠4♣ runout, and O'Dwyer's aces held as he racked up two eliminations.
