Nader Drills the River

Valeriy Pak opened in late position to 225,000 before the action made it to Alfred Nader in the big blind who peeked at his cards, took a moment, and then flat called.

The A♥5♦10♦ flop hit the felt and Nader took almost no time before announcing he was all in. Action was on Pak who also didn't waste anyone's time with a count and flicked in a call.

Alfred Nader: Q♦8♦
Valeriy Pak: A♣9♦

Nader needed some help in the form of a diamond or running cards. The dealer did not bring help on the 6♥ turn but Nader drilled the 3♦ on the river to earn the pure double.

He now sits with a workable stack and got some much needed breathing room.
