Furu Oie Sticks Around and Takes it Down

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Vidar Furu Oie opened the cutoff to 1,000 before getting called by Sergiu Covrig in the big blind.

The J210 flop hit the felt and action quickly checked through to an 8 turn.

Covrig opted to lead almost full pot on that card to the tune of 2,700. Furu Oie thought it over for a moment and then put in the chips on their way to a Q river.

Covrig slowed back down and checked and although Furu Oie thought for a moment he ultimately checked it back.

Covrig smiled and said "You're good," as he tossed away his cards. Covrig still tabled KQ to show he had hit the river and scooped the pot.

Orman Runs into a Set

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

The action was caught on the river with the J326K board on show.

Mateusz Wozniak bet 21,100 into a pot of around 25,000, which was enough to put Leonid Orman all in for his tournament life. The latter called off and the cards were tabled.

Wozniak had a set of jacks with his JJ, and bested Orman's KQ.

Simon was dominated, but added some flush outs after the 983 flop. The 6 turn and 9 river, however, meant Cappiello survived to double up with his superior ace.

"It's never easy," he joked to the table.
