The action folded to Vicente Delgado in the small blind and he inquired after the stack of Paulius Plausinaitis in the big blind. After the latter was kind enough to give him an exact count, Delgado shoved all in. Plausinaitis slowly peeled his cards and called soon thereafter.

Azoux made the call and the pair checked through the subsequent flop of Q♣10♣8♥. The 2♦ turn then fell and Auzoux led out for a sum of 275,000. Delgado made the call and the K♥ river completed the board.

Auzoux promptly shoved all in for 790,000 and Delgado called as quick as lightning. Auzoux shook his head while tabling his 9♦9♣ with a grimace. The bluff did not work as Delgado held A♦J♠ and rivered Broadway, the nuts.

Auzoux was the first player to leave the final table and two more eliminations are to be had before the money will be reached.

Adrian Mateos open-raised from the button before small blind Vicente Delgado made a three-bet. Mateos then four-bet shoved for 624,000 and Delgado made the call, being at risk with a stack of 615,000.

No eights appeared on the A♦5♦2♣6♠A♣ runout and Delgado doubled up, while Mateos was left with less than one big blind.
