Badziakouski Bags a Double-Up
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski raised to 20,000 chips from under the gun and the action folded to Paulius Plausinaitis in the big blind, who defended.
The flop of 8♥7♦3♣ saw Plausinaitis check to Badziakouski, who continued with a bet of 30,000. Plausinaitis then put Badziakouski all-in by putting a stack of T-25,000 chips in the middle and Badziakouski made the call for his stack of 162,000.
Mikita Badziakouski: 10♦9♦
Paulius Plausinaitis: A♠K♠
Plausinaitis still had the best hand, but Badziakouski had a plethora of outs to choose from. One of them came on the 9♥ turn, and the Q♠ river did not improve Plausinaitis. Badziakouski doubled up and surpassed Plausinaitis on the leaderboard in the process.
