Carbo Hits Higher Flush to Eliminate Pilkington-Lewis

Walter Ripper raised from early position and was called by Gerard Carbo. Damien Pilkington-Lewis reraised to 10,000, Ripper got out of the way and Carbo moved all in, which Pilkington-Lewis called. Two players flipped their cards for the all-in.

The board ran out 5♣3♣9♣10♣2♠. The flop gave Pilkington-Lewis the flush and Carbo let out a sigh. The turn, however, brought the fourth club and gave Carbo the higher flush. He scooped a huge pot and Pilkington-Lewis was sent to the rail.

Guy Allouche raised to 1,200 and Samy Barka made it 2,600 to go. Allouche called.

The flop came 9♠K♠7♠ and both players checked. The turn came the A♣ and Allouche bet 2,000, which Barka called.

On the A♦ river, Allouche bet again for 2,000 and Barka made a raise to 11,000. Allouche leant his head on his arm and went into the tank before making the fold.

Alexandre Reard raised to 2,400 from the button and was called by Elie Dib in the small blind and Kelvin Kerber in the big blind.

The flop came 5♦4♦Q♦ and action checked to the raiser, Reard, who continued for 4,000. Dib called.

The turn was the K♠, Dib checked and Reard moved all in for 13,200. Dib made the call and players flopped their cards.

Both players had paired up their queens but Reard made two pair on the flop. The river was the 8♣, which brought no improvement to either player. Reard held for the double up.
