There was around 100,000 in the pot already with Azzedine Mehal and Abraham Gil heads-up. The board read A♠3♣2♦K♣ and Mehal had a bet of 32,000 in front of him on the button. Gil check-raised the minimum to 64,000 and Mehal tanked for a minute before calling.

Gil opted to check blind before the Q♣ hit the felt and Mehal announced a five. He then checked and announced "five" once more. Gil flipped over 10♠10♥ and that turned out to be the best hand as Mehal mucked his cards.

Pu Pressures Vuckovic on the River

Action was heads up with over 75,000 in the middle and K♦2♦8♥A♠ on the board when Weiran Pu bet 35,000 from middle position and Alexander Vuckovic called from the button.

The river was Q♥ and Pu tossed out 65,000. Vuckovic went into the tank to consider his options but ultimately it was too much for him and he tossed his hand in the muck.

Action was heads up with a full board of A♠7♥10♦8♥6♠ and a big pot in the middle that looked to be near 150,000. Tsugunari Toma checked from the small blind and called when Florian Guimond bet 100,000 from the big blind.

Guimond turned over J♦9♦ for the straight and Toma tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Abuladze Picks the Wrong Person to Bluff

Georgi Abuladze and Mikhail Nikolaev were heads-up in a pot with around 60,000 in the middle. The board read 5♥4♠3♠K♣ and Nikolaev tossed in a bet of 28,000 on the button. Abuladze called and the 7♦ peeled off on the river.

Abuladze checked and Nikolaev slid out a stack of 120,000. Abuladze went into the tank and the clock was called but he eventually made the call. Nikolaev tabled J♥8♦ for air while Abuladze made a good call with A♦5♦ to become one of the leaders.

Lyu Baolin was all in for 12,000 and Ricardo Caridade called from middle position before [Removed:421] came along from the big blind. Action was three ways and Baolin was at risk.

The flop was K♠7♣A♦ and both remaining players checked to see the 7♦ on the turn. They checked again and 6♠ fell on the river.

Murtezi checked the river and then got out of the way and Caridade fired 20,000.

Baolin turned over Q♣Q♠, but he was out of the tournament when Caridade showed A♥5♥ to take the pot with a pair of aces
