Samiyel Duzgun opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 160,000. It folded to Alan Goasdoue in the big blind. He was sitting on a short stack and decided to put it all at risk for 566,000. Duzgun asked for a count but called midway.

Goasdoue was a big favorite to double up, but the flop of 3♦A♥2♦ brought a sweat in the way of a flush draw. The turn completed that draw with the K♦ and Goasdoue was confirmed to be eliminated. The useless 9♠ was dealt as a river card while Goasdoue said his goodbyes in good spirits.

Goasdoue was looking for his second FPS title after winning the Main Event during the 2023 EPT Paris, but came just a little short, finishing at the final three tables.

Wagner Ripper open-jammed from middle position for 810,000 and Paolo Boi made the call in the hijack. The rest of the table folded their cards and a showdown was had.

The flop came down 8♦Q♥6♥. ''Always a sweat,'' commented someone at the table. The K♠ turn increased the perspiration levels of this hand even more as Boi now had even more outs. He finally hit one when the J♠ river hit the felt, turning his hand into a pair of jacks, beating Ripper's pair of nines.

Another deep run for Ripper, who could not best his third place in the €2,200 FPS High Roller during EPT Paris.

Lupino Triples as Alt Busts

Sim Kok Wai opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Dinesh Alt went all in for 790,000 from the small blind. Marco Lupino was in the big blind and thought for a while before announcing his own all in for 670,000.

Wai was intrigued by the situation, repeating several times that ''this hand has been doing very good for me today.'' Eventually, he decided that that was enough reason to call as well, creating a three-way all-in situation in the late stages of the High Roller.

Kiriopoulos Climbs to Two Million

A 250,000 pot was brewing between Demosthenes Kiriopoulos and Samiyel Duzgun. The flop read 4♥4♦9♦ and Kiriopoulos checked out of the big blind to Samiyel Duzgun on the button. Duzgun bet the minimum of 40,000, which Kiriopoulos raised to 125,000. Duzgun called and the 3♥ turn was dealt.

This time, Kiriopoulos put out a bet worth 200,000 chips and again Duzgun obliged. Kiriopoulos completed the triple barrel on the Q♠ river by putting 275,000 chips in the middle. Duzgun thought for a minute before relinquishing the pot to Kiriopoulos.

This pot made Kiriopoulos tip the two million mark, while Duzgun dove back down to under a million.

Duzgun Doubles Ripper, Gets It Back from Petleshkov

Samiyel Duzgun raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Walter Ripper moved all in for 310,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Duzgun who quickly called to put Ripper at risk.

On the next hand, the action folded around to the blinds and Viliyan Petleshkov shoved all in for just over 500,000. Duzgun called with the bigger stack and the cards were tabled.

Petleshkov showed 5♠5♥ but was in trouble against the 9♠9♥ of Duzgun. Petelshkov was unable to find any help on the 4♠4♥2♦8♦10♣ board and was eliminated.
