State Brought Back Down After Unavoidable Cooler
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Cutoff Gregory Donabedian opened from the cutoff, and Adrian State three-bet from the small blind. More bets went in until eventually Donabedian was all in for 22,100, covered by State.
Gregory Donabedian: A♦A♠
Adrian State: K♣K♥
Donabedian immediately flopped an ace on A♣J♣8♠ and the hand was as good as over. With only backdoors to hit, the turn was a big brick in the way of the 2♠. State sighed as he hit a worthless set on the K♦ river, and he cut out the chips to pay Donabedian.
After an early double-up he is now back to just over starting stack.
