On arrival at the table, the board read Q♠5♦9♦8♣. Moreno Plozza had pushed all in on the flop, and gotten called by both Florian Montes and William Kassouf. On the turn, Montes checked to Kassouf, who bet out a bet of 100,000, barely enough to put Montes all-in.

Montes thought about it for a bit but eventually sighed and folded. The other two players tabled their cards

William Kassouf: 8♥9♠

Kassouf uttered his obligatory ''nine-high like a boss'' line, whereto Plozza responded: ''You have no right to complain about luck''. Kassouf's two pair held on the 4♠ river and Plozza threw his bounty chip to Kassouf across the table.

He left while stating several more times that Kassouf should never complain again, before he concluded: ''Nice play''.

Saccucci Pairs Up to Eliminate Kudzmanas

Action folded around to Michel Bouskila, who raised from the button. Marius Kudzmanas moved all in from the small blind and Jordan Saccucci moved all in from the big blind. Bouskila folded and two players flipped their cards, with Kudzmanas at risk.

Jordan Saccucci: A♠Q♣

Kudzmanas had Succucci dominated with his ace king, but the board ran out A♣2♠9♦Q♥Q♠ to give Succucci a pair of queens on the turn and trips on the river.

Kudzmanas was eliminated from the tournament.

Aurelien Russo Pulls First €100,000 Bounty

During the break, an ear-deafening yell could be heard coming from the bounty desk. Upon investigation, it became evident that the culprit was Aurelien Russo , who had one of two €100,000 bounties in his hand.

Russo, who came in 29th place during the EPT Paris Main Event earlier this year, has just over €100,000 in recorded lifetime earnings. A massive score for the Frenchman, who just gained a huge bankroll boost.

Boika Wins Two Bounties With Six-Deuce

Aliaksei Boika limped in early position and Daoud Majid went all in for just 5,500 chips. Aylar Lie called behind before Alan Goasdoue moved all in for 45,000 chips. Boika made the call and Lie folded. Players flipped their cards.

Alan Goasdoue: 8♣7♠
Aliaksei Boika: 6♥2♣

Majid was as surprised as anyone to see that he had the best hand. "Hold, king, hold!", he said. Goasdoue had attempted to isolate but was called by Boika, who had both players covered.

The board ran out 5♣J♦3♣Q♣2♦. The river brought Boika a pair of deuces, which was enough for him to win the pot, add to his stack, and claim two bounty tokens.

Majid and Goasdoue were both eliminated from the tournament.

Kassouf's Kings Hold Up

Jamie Nixon opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 6,000. Will Kassouf then made it 18,000 from the cutoff before Biliyan Petleshkov four-bet jammed 119,500 from the cutoff.

The action folded back to Nixon, who asked for a count. Seeing that he was covered by a small amount, he elected to let this hand go. Kassouf said ''Well, if you have aces you have aces'', and put in the call in hopes of obtaining a bounty token.

The aces remained absent on the Q♠6♦J♠5♠2♥ runout, and no Broadway was turned or rivered either. Petleshkov was out but traveled to the bounty desk with a handful of tokens, so he may yet turn a big profit in this tournament.

The hand was played until the turn when the action was caught. The board read 4♣6♠7♥A♣ and Sim Kok Wai had bet 22,000. Nacho Barbero was in the next seat over and made the call before his neighbor Michel Bouskila shoved all his chips in. He covered both of them with his 112,000 remaining chips.

Wai tanked for a while but eventually made the call. ''I know you have a set'', Barbero claimed, ''but I have to call'' and he put in his last chips.

Nacho Barbero: K♣5♣
Michel Bouskila: 7♣7♥

Two pair for Wai and a combo draw for Barbero, but Bouskila was in the lead with his set of sevens. The river 7♦ gave him the unbeatable four of a kind and he collected two bounty chips for his effort.

Kyte Busts, Garnero Triples Up, Petleshkov Earns Bounty

Charles-Henri Garnero open shoved all in for 21,000 and Jon Kyte got it in with a short stack but with Garnero covered. Viliyan Petleshkov also went all in and had both players covered.

The board ran out J♣7♣2♦4♦Q♣. That gave Garnero a pair of queens on the river and he tripled up. Petleshkov's pocket nines played for the side pot and he sent Kyte to the rail and earned his bounty token.

Both players expressed that they were happy with the outcome; Garnero thrilled to triple up and Petleshkov content to earn the bounty.

Around the room, dealers shouted out "Seat open," as more and more short stacks busted early.

In the first of two consecutive hands, Dario Sammartino shoved all in preflop for 22,000 and was called by Aleksandar Tomovic on the button, who had Sammartino covered.

Sammartino had 5♦5♠ for a pocket pair of fives and Saleh had A♥K♠.

The board ran out 10♦J♣9♥8♠7♥ to put a straight on board and players split the pot.

The next hand, Sammartino shoved again for 24,500 and Aleksandar Tomovic moved all in over the top for 45,000. Mathieu His also called and had both players covered.

There was a three-way preflop all-in between Mehdi Chaoui, Alex Kulev, and Fabrice Bigot. Kulev and Bigot had both bought in at the start of the day and were at risk for their starting stack of 30,000.

Mehdi Chaoui: A♣4♣

The flop was 5♥J♣3♦ and Bigot solidified his lead with his top pair. ''I'll take a deuce,'' Chaoui said. The turn did indeed come the 2♣, giving Chaoui the straight. With both other players drawing dead, he raked in the pot and two bounty tokens as the 10♦ was dealt as a formality.

''I'm really happy to bust two of the best players in the tournament,'' Chaoui concluded as the other two players took their leave.

In one of the first hands dealt on Day 2, Rui Martins open shoved all in from early positon for 25,500. He was called by Antoine Labat and players flipped their cards, with Martins the player at risk.

"A fair fight," said Martins.

The flop ran out 7♠5♣9♦10♣K♣. Labat made a set of tens on the turn and Martins couldn't find his straight on the river. Labat scooped the pot and Martins busted out early.

"You deserved that one," said Martins as he left the table.
