Patacconi Finds Fortunate River In Three-Bet Pot
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Alexandre Landron opened to 10,000 from middle position and Leonardo Patacconi put in a three-bet to 31,000 from the cutoff. The rest of the table got out of the way and Landron made the call.
The flop came J♥4♣2♣ and both players checked their options to the 4♥ turn. Landron took the betting lead with a size of 28,000 and Patacconi called.
The A♥ completed the board and action was checked to a showdown. Landron tabled 3♣3♠, but was no good against the A♠2♠ for Patacconi who scooped the pot with a rivered ace.
