Pardo's Check-Raise Gets The Job Done
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Juan Pardo opened to 11,000 from under the gun and Ryhor Karapanau put in a three-bet to 30,000 from middle position. The rest of the table folded and Pardo made the call.
On the flop of K♦10♥6♠, Pardo checked to Karapanau who continued for 25,000. Pardo took close to his full 30 seconds before announcing raise and sliding out a check-raise to 70,000. Karapanau pondered for a moment, but in the end, made the fold and the pot was sent to Pardo.
