Rosner Doubles With Pocket Queens

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jan Bednar raised to 35,000 from under the gun, Jean Gaye called in middle position, and Floyd Rosner shoved for around 200,000. Bednar was the only caller and the two players went to the races.

Floyd Rosner: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Jan Bednar: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The board came {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Rosner's queens held for the double up.

Showdown, but No Cards Seen

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Blaz Zerjav opened the button for 30,000, and it folded to big blind Elias Fisz, who made it 85,000 to go. Zerjav called and the players were off to a flop, which presented itself as {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Fisz threw in a continuation bet of 75,000 chips, and Zerjav called after a little deliberation.

The turn {7-Clubs} saw Fisz up the ante to 140,000, which accounted for more than a third of Zerjav's remaining chips. Zerjav went into a deep tank that lasted several minutes before ultimately calling.

The river {j-Clubs} was less eventful, as both players checked rather rapidly. Fisz was first to show but mucked his hand quicker than lightning, leaving the relieved Zerjav to rake in the pot without having to show a single card to the rest of the table.
