Kaiser Wins Pot
Level 3
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Jochen Kaiser opened to 1,200 from the hijack and Aguinaldo Parmisciano called from the small blind. On a 2♥8♦6♠ flop, Parmisciano check-called a 1,200 bet from Kaiser.
The turn brought the A♥ and Parmisciano again check-called a bet of 1,500.
The river was the Q♠ and both players checked. Parmisciano showed 9♥7♦ for a missed straight draw, while Kaiser took the pot with 9♠8♠ for a pair of eights.
