Serafin Doubles his Short Stack

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Radu Ciprian raised to 2,500 from middle position and picked up three callers, including Wojciech Szczytkowski in late position and Luigi Serafin in the big blind.

The flop came J9J. Action checked to Szczytkowski, who bet 4,000. Serafin then check-raised all in for 13,000. The rest of the table folded and Szczytkowski tutted, realizing he was committed, before making the call.

Szczytkowski showed 87 and Serafin turned Q9 for two pair, nines with the jacks on board.

The turn came the A and river was the 9. Serafin further improved to a full house on the river to double up his stack.
