Short-Stacked Machado Triples Up
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
The short-stacked Andre Machado had moved all in for 13,500 from early position, and received calls from both Alexandros Dranovitsas on the button and Maria Kokkinou in the big blind.
The J♥4♦6♣ flop was checked by both active players.
On the 6♦ turn Dranovitsas put out a bet of 10,000, forcing the fold from Kokkinou.
Andre Machado: K♣Q♠
Alexandros Dranovitsas: Ax10x
Machado was behind but the K♦ on the river gave him top pair and secured the triple up.
