Raschbauer Makes the Right Call

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Stefan Raschbauer opened to 2,600 from the cutoff and was called by Scott Margereson in the big blind.

Margereson check-called a 5,200 bet from Raschbauer on the 3A7 flop and then both players checked on the 2 turn.

The 8 completed the board and Margereson led out for 3,500. Raschbauer tanked a bit and decided to raise to 12,600. Margereson responded by shoving, which was enough to put Raschbauer all in for his last 38,000. Raschbauer thought it over and stuck calling chips into the middle.

Margereson tabled 85 for a pair of eights and Raschbauer turned over A9 for a pair of aces — good for the double up.

Miniucchi Shoves on the Flop

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a three-way pot, Jaromir Hanel checked from the hijack on a flop of 9109. Pasquale Braco then put a bet of 3,700 into the pot of 11,000 chips.

Marcello Miniucchi then made an all-in raise to 17,400, which quickly forced Hanel out of the pot. Braco took some time before following suit, seeing Miniucchi climb back to a starting stack.

Banic Hits the River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ivan Banic opened the button and Alexander Baier defended the big blind.

When the K53 flop hit the felt, Baier check-called a bet of 2,600.

The 3 paired the board on the turn, and Baier took the lead, firing 3,000. Banic called.

The A landed on the river, and Baier continued for another bet of 5,000. Banic wasted no time, tossing in a chip to make the call. Baier tabled Q5, but it was no good as Banic tabled AJ.

Schneiders Fails to Quadruple Up

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Felix Schneiders
Felix Schneiders

Yi Lin raised to 2,400 from under the gun and received a call from Emmanuel Wouters in the next seat over. Moonho Seo also came along from the button, but Felix Schneiders had different ideas and went all in for 9,200 from the big blind.

All of his opponents made the call, seeing an opportunity arise for the PokerStars Ambassador to quadruple his stack.

On the subsequent 475 flop, the action checked to Seo, who put out a bet of 15,500. Lin and Wouters folded in quick succession, leaving a heads up showdown.

Felix Schneiders: AK
Moonho Seo: 97

Seo had flopped the best hand with a pair of sevens, and improved to two pair on the 9 turn. The A river could not save Schneiders' Big Slick and he left the tournament area after saying his goodbyes to his former table.

Beresford Catches Franco Speeding

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Conor Beresford raised 2,500 in the cutoff and Miguel Franco defended the big blind.

When the 886 flop hit the felt, Franco check-raised Beresford's continuation bet of 2,500 to 7,000. Beresford made the call.

The 3 fell on the turn, and Franco continued with a bet of 5,900. Beresford took a couple of seconds before tossing in a call.

When the K landed on the river, Franco announced all-in, pushing forward his stack of about 23,000. Beresford tanked for about 40 seconds before he sighed while dropping a stack of chips across the line.

Franco tabled 97 for a missed straight draw, and Beresford dragged the pot with QQ.
