Sferrazza Resurges

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The short-stacked Coralie Sferrazza got her last 6,700 chips from the big blind on a flop of A65. Dieter Zwick sat on the button and looked her up.

Coralie Sferrazza: 74
Dieter Zwick: AQ

Sferrazza hit her open-ender on the 8 turn and locked up the pot. The meaningless 5 completed the board and she secured a vital double-up.

One hand later, Christian Ly raised to 1,500 from the hijack before Zwick flat-called on the button. Sferrazza then three-bet to 6,000 from the small blind and took down back-to-back pots when both of her opponents mucked their cards.

A Three-Bet Pot for Fluxa

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After an open to 1,500 by Christian Ly under the gun called by the player to his left, Roberto Corbelli three-bet to 4,000 from the button. He was called by Miguel Fluxa in the big blind, while both Ly and his neighbor folded.

Fluxa and Corbelli checked a board of 6Q2. Then on the turn 6, Fluxa bet 6,500. Enough to make Corbelli fold and to scoop the pot.

Odani Breaches Six-Figure Mark

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were 23,000 chips in the pot when Takumi Odani and Tomas Hajek saw a completed board of 62825. Odani checked from the cutoff before his opponent fired a bet of 12,000 from the button.

Odani went deep into the tank but eventually came up with a call just as another player called the clock on him. Hajek could only show A4 for a busted flush draw, while Odani was sitting on the winning hand with 98.

Sferrazza Leaves Sorainen With Crumbs

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The action was folded to Coralie Sferrazza on the button, who raised to 1,300, with Arno Sorainen defending his big blind.

On the J2Q flop, Sorainen check-raised to 3,500 versus Sferrazza's 800 bet, with Sferrazza making the call.

On the 7 turn Sorainen bet 6,000 and Sferrazza called.

The river brought the 8 and Sorainen continued firing, putting his opponent all in with a bet of 15,000. Sferrazza looked pained and went into the tank, stating she had a nice hand and enquiring whether her opponent did too. Sorainen remained silent.

Sferrazza called and Sorainen tabled Q2 for two pair. Sferrazza showed QQ for top set, leaving Sorainen with crumbs.

Kozieja Flushes Ogoltsov Out

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Nikolai Ogoltsov raised from the cutoff and was three-bet to 4,200 by Grzegorz Kozieja from the small blind. Action folded back to Ogoltsov, who called.

Ogoltsov called a 2,000 bet from Kozieja on the A9Q flop and then Kozieja check-called a 6,000 bet from Ogoltsov on the 6 turn.

The J river brought four to a flush and Kozieja bet enough to put Ogoltsov all in for his last 20,000. Ogoltsov went into the tank but eventually decided to call.

Kozieja tabled KK for the nut flush, which was best against Ogoltsov's Ax10x to send Ogoltsov to the rail.
